This skylight not only brings abundant daylight into the home but also serves as a design element in the garden. It features walk-on glass and is fully integrated into the greenery.
Custom-made modular walk-on glass
Goedehuizen Architects designed a custom, walkable skylight consisting of 20 sections. This skylight provides an abundance of daylight in the new basement. Walkable and fully integrated amidst the greenery, just like the custom diamond-shaped skylights that are also part of this beautiful project. Dutch Roof Design established the glass specifications and all other quality criteria in collaboration with the glass experts at Glazing Vision. Following the design phase, all roof windows could be produced perfectly to measure.
Custom design with minimalist design
Where a basement is often dark and reliant on artificial light, the gigantic skylight brings the outdoors inside. A total of 20 glass sections are connected with slender T-profiles to create a U-shaped skylight, over a meter wide with sides nearly 12 meters long. The effect is overwhelming. The custom-made diamond-shaped daylights create an extra special effect, not only inside but also in the garden.
