Sliding Box The Hague
Live in the heart of The Hague, yet enjoy a sense of peace and tranquility. A large roof terrace offers unique views of the surrounding greenery. The Three Wall Box is the ultimate gateway: easy access to the roof terrace and a flood of light.
Sliding Box The Hague
The sliding box slides open at the touch of a button. Unlike a hinged roof hatch, its height provides extra headroom as standard. The glass panels at the top and front allow for sublime natural light. A dormer window, but with an electric opening. The box's height can also be custom-made and, in this project, it aligns beautifully with the other dormer window.

Natural daylight for a pleasant living environment
The importance of natural daylight is evident in the architects' other solutions. Glass facades have been replaced by floor-to-ceiling windows that bring daylight deep into the building. The project photos clearly demonstrate the pleasant atmosphere daylight creates in the home. There's also a beautiful balance between the minimalist design and the antique furniture and artwork.

Sun protection for warm days
The custom-made sunshades are electrically operated. The light is beautifully filtered on warm days. The staircase complements the minimalist design of the sliding box.
The Sliding Box's glass itself offers excellent heat insulation, thanks to the argon-filled cavity and the glass type. The sunshade provides additional heat protection. Blackout fabric can even be used to completely darken a bedroom, for example.
