Flat skylight – bungalow in the greenery
Peace and simplicity. In harmony with its surroundings surrounded by tall trees, this contemporary bungalow makes the dreams of its new residents come true. Several rooflights in the flat roof make the house light and spacious inside.
Privacy and daylight
The surrounding greenery provides plenty of visual privacy, which was one of the residents’ main requirements. In addition to privacy, the clients also desired lots of natural light in all rooms. The house was designed so that the living spaces are very transparent to the outside to bring in a green environment. Due to the dense forest surrounding the property, privacy is also guaranteed in these rooms. They are located along the corridor surrounding the patio to further increase the sense of privacy without limiting the amount of daylight in the home.
Minimalistic design in harmony with nature
The soft, minimalist design approach is not only strongly visible on the outside, but also evident inside. By applying colors, materials and textures that do not overpower each other, a harmonious look has been created that blends together perfectly. The soft colors, subtle textures and use of natural materials give the home a pleasant and warm atmosphere.
Lines and colors
The graying color scheme is used in elements in the interior and also the exterior such as the window frames, all the aluminum work and the architectural concrete. Together they form a unified whole. Horizontal lines are balanced with vertically placed wooden blinds, creating a play of lines. This gives a sense of sophistication and warmth to the predominantly clean look.
