Manual roof hatch
The manually operated roof hatch from Dutch Roof Design is available in two sizes: XL is 1 x 2 meters (opening 80cm x 180cm) and L is 1 x 1.5 meters (opening 80cm x 130cm). 1 x 2 meters is the most common size because it fits well with the stairwells of existing older Dutch buildings. Access to the roof terrace is often created above the existing staircase, making the roof terrace a natural part of the house.
The opening mechanism is concealed within the roof hatch frame, eliminating any unsightly springs or extenders. When the roof hatch is closed, all you see is the sky.
